Microsoft confirmed now that its new tablet and WIndows 8 will launch on the same day, October 26.
This might be linked to the rumors about Apple moving up the release date of the iPhone 5 and a possible ipad mini by almost a month. This would give Apple yet another head start to throw down the gauntlet and book several million iPhone and ipad mini sales before consumers have a chance to give the Microsoft tablet and smartphones with Windows 8 a test drive.
